Empowering rural women and young girls with a marketable skill and a direct path to financial independence.
Our youngest member, Ms. Ananta Badil, learned the art of handmade soap-making and turned it into something much bigger than a hobby.
What began as her personal brand, “Ananta’s Signature Soaps,” grew into Anantbala, one of Parivartan’s flagship women’s livelihood programs.
The idea was simple: teach village women and young girls a real, marketable skill and connect them directly to income. Every batch of soap made is more than just a product — it is a step toward greater financial independence for the woman who made it.
Through Anantbala, we conduct hands-on soap-making workshops in villages, training women in the craft from scratch — from measuring and blending to molding and finishing premium handmade soaps.
Graduates can go on to work with our production unit or use their skills to start earning independently.
The soaps are premium, handmade products sold through exhibitions and stalls, with the proceeds and visibility helping support the women who make them and the wider work of the Trust.
Anantbala isn’t a one-time initiative, it’s been run consistently for nearly a decade, growing every year.
