Safe Drinking Water

Objective

To bring clean drinking water to children in a village where access to clean drinking water remained a challenge.

Donation

  • Donation was received for the project.

  • Work started to install a submersible pump.

  • Work started to install a clean water tank.

  • Work started to install drinking taps for children.

Result

The project was initiated to provide safe drinking water to children. Completion is documented under YEAR 2013-2014.

ALTERNATIVE MEASURES

Objective

To study and implement projects that promote rural industries and local jobs.

 

Donation

  • Research was conducted for various projects.
  • Meetings were held in the village.
  • Villagers were made aware of solar products and their costs.
  •  

Result

Multiple sustainable rural-development projects were researched and prepared for implementation.

Solar Power

Objective

To launch an 11 KVA Solar Power plant in the village so that electricity could be available for 24 hours.

 

Donation

  • The Trust tied up with Gram Power.

  • The project was reported as ready for implementation.

  • Village meetings were held to discuss solar products and costs.

Result

The project was prepared for implementation, subject to further development and funding.

PRODUCT FROM WASTE

Objective

To address the health and environmental hazards caused by excess waste material.

Donation

  • Old tyres and bottles were purchased.
  • Usable products were created from this waste material.
  •  

Result

An ongoing project that aimed to reduce waste by converting discarded materials into useful products.

Vermicompost

Objective

To create natural manure that keeps land fertile and supports healthy agricultural produce.

 

Donation

  • Trenches were made for manure production.

Result

The report records that up to 150 kg of vermicompost could be produced every 45 days.

Swachchh Sulabh Shauchalya Yojna

Objective

The school had no toilets, and class eighth girls had to go out in the open. The project aimed to ensure clean and hygienic toilets for all.

Donation

  • Four toilets were constructed.
  • Two toilets were constructed for girls.
  • Two toilets were constructed for boys.
  • The toilets were inaugurated by Mrs. Kusum Singh on 12-1-2013.

Result

A more hygienic rural school.

COMPUTER GYAN AUR HUM

Objective

To bring computer education to the village and educate children with the latest technology.

Donation

  • Computers were donated and installed in the school.

  • Children were taught information-technology skills.

Result

Latest computer and information-technology training was imparted to the children.

PADHEGA HIND TO BADHEGA HIND

Objective

To promote children’s education and encourage brilliant students to achieve higher results, helping them build a brighter future.

Donation

  • The yearly education fees of the topper in every class were paid by Parivartan The Trust.

Result

  • Students of Deep Sishu Mandir were encouraged to work hard to achieve free education.

  • The report records that average percentage was 70% to 75% before the project.

  • The report records that average percentage increased to 85% to 90% after the initiative.

  • The project is still going on.

Adoption of Deep Shishu Mandir

Objective

To promote better Education and Health for the village children.

 

Donation

  • Books were provided for the poor.

  • Dresses were provided for the needy.

Result

The school became Parivartan The Trust’s adopted school and the starting point for its continuing rural education and welfare work.

NARI SASHAKTIKARN YOJNA

Objective

Under this project, Parivartan The Trust took the responsibility to teach technical skills to young girls so that they could become self-reliant and earn a livelihood through those skills.

Donation

  • Sewing machines were provided to Deep Sishu Mandir.
  • Girls from Deep Sishu Mandir and Razapur village were taught stitching skills three times a week.
  •  

Result

Girls received regular stitching training intended to help them become self-reliant.
